Desired Skills and Experience:
- Active SLP license in Texas (CCC required)
- Experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Comfortable supervising SLPAs
- Proficient in completing comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Experienced in leading or facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate easily with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPAs to ensure high standards of student care
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations for students across assigned campuses
- Guide the ARD process, facilitating productive meetings and collaborating on student placement and support plans
- Work onsite at designated primary and elementary campuses, supporting a dynamic group of schools
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district requirements
