This contract position runs Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, aligning with the 26/27 school year. You'll make a direct impact by serving a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students and collaborating with a virtual SLP for optimal service delivery. Qualifications:
- Active or pending state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)
- Experience with school-based caseloads or pediatric populations is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with support staff, teachers, and virtual SLP partners
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with IEP documentation and progress tracking
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students onsite, focusing on a Pre-K to 5th-grade population
- Support and consult with a virtual SLP to ensure consistent and comprehensive service to all students
- Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
- Utilize evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Communicate regularly with families, staff, and administration to support each student’s communication needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policies
