Speech Language Pathologist in Callao, VA

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for communicative and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about fostering student success. You’ll work onsite from 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, during the upcoming school year. This role focuses on serving Pre-K through 5th-grade students with a caseload of 60, collaborating with a virtual SLP for additional support.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State licensure as required for practice in schools
- Experience or strong interest in working with children from Pre-K through 5th grade
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a moderate caseload
- Comfortable using technology for collaboration and documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services onsite
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and a virtual SLP for student-centered care
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to creating supportive learning environments
- Engage in ongoing professional development as required
