School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Warsaw, Virginia
Make a meaningful difference as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from Pre-K through 5th grade for the upcoming school year. This onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to empower young learners while working within a supportive educational environment. Collaborate closely with a virtual SLP to provide comprehensive services to a caseload of 60 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CFY) status
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment to school-aged children
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy sessions for students in Pre-K through 5th grade as outlined in IEPs
- Work onsite Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM
- Coordinate closely with a virtual SLP to ensure all student needs are met
- Conduct assessments and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing individualized goals
