Elementary High School School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Brick, New Jersey

As a contract SLP, you’ll work closely with students, families, and educators, supporting communication goals and helping learners succeed academically and socially.
Desired Background:
- Hold an active NJ Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
- Skilled in evaluation, development, and implementation of individualized intervention plans.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ communication disorders and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress and address concerns.
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and small group, focusing on speech, language, and social communication goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of progress, evaluations, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
