Desired Qualifications:
- Active and current New Jersey (NJ) SLP licensure is required
- Previous school-based experience is preferred
- Proficient in developing and implementing speech-language treatment plans for various age groups (elementary through high school)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Able to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable and solutions-oriented in a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and tailor intervention plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy within both group and one-on-one settings
- Document progress and maintain student records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ educational success
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that addresses diverse student needs
