School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

A school district in Milton, FL is seeking a qualified Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full‑time, school‑based contract. This position serves elementary students and focuses on providing speech and language services to support communication and academic success.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech‑language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and manage IEP goals and services
- Recommend and implement assistive technology (AT) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Conduct evaluations to determine appropriate communication supports and accommodations
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Florida Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred (CFs may be considered)
- Experience with or knowledge of assistive technology and AAC systems
- Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
