Make a significant impact as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in an in-person, full-time contract role supporting students within a dynamic school network serving communities from Chicago to North Chicago. You’ll work closely with students from PreK through 8th grade, providing vital assessment, intervention, and support across multiple campuses. This opportunity runs from July 2026 to June 2027, offering a meaningful chance to guide students’ communication development in diverse educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in Illinois, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Specialized experience working in school settings, particularly with PreK-8th grade populations
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP highly valued
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments in line with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload at multiple school campuses
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student achievement
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Emphasize culturally responsive intervention strategies for bilingual learners
