Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and families as a full-time Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive and dynamic school environment. This contract position requires onsite presence, serving multiple campuses throughout the Chicago and North Chicago area. You'll play a vital role in helping PreK–8th grade students, providing assessment, intervention, and collaborative support as part of a diverse educational team.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English—a must for this position
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from varying backgrounds
- Flexibility to work across multiple grade levels (PreK–8)
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Developing individualized education plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Delivering direct and consultative therapy services in English and Spanish
- Supporting students’ language development and academic growth
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and acting as a resource for colleagues
