Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Active Illinois SLP-CCC
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
- School-based experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for PreK-8th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Provide direct therapy services in both Spanish and English
- Document progress and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with families and staff to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
