Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cicero, IL

Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders.
- Valid Illinois SLP-CCC license and Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (bilingual proficiency required).
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in PreK through 8th grade.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and establish measurable goals.
- Deliver direct therapy to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's progress.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
- Offer culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate services to meet the needs of bilingual students.
