Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain it prior to starting
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Comfortable working collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Deliver therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Maintain accurate student records and progress notes in compliance with school and district regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary teams
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements for school-based SLPs
