Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12 preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and parents
  • Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Flexibility to adapt to various age groups and individualized education plans

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to promote students’ progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate on IEPs
  • Consult with teachers and families regarding strategies to foster language development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
