Responsibilities:
- Assist certified Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services within the school setting
- Support students with a variety of speech and language needs, implementing targeted interventions
- Prepare materials and document student progress
- Work alongside teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes as needed
- Engage in professional growth and development activities
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program is required
- Current or eligible for SLPA licensure in the state of Washington
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with children of diverse abilities
