Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Seattle, WA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders (or related field)
- Valid SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in Washington State
- Previous experience working with children, preferably within a school environment
- Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Comfortable adapting to diverse student populations and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapeutic activities and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students in improving communication, speech, and language abilities
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations
- Assist in creating engaging, evidence-based classroom materials and resources
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and parent conferences as needed
