School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - Greenacres, Washington

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain) in Washington State
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and ability to document treatment plans/progress notes accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptable, organized, and a clear communicator with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement therapy activities tailored to individual student needs and IEP goals
- Document session notes, maintain data collection, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members to support students’ communication goals
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and preparation of therapy materials
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
