Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA in Washington state
- Experience supporting speech and language interventions in school settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and flexible to meet changing student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech-language therapy services under the direction of a certified SLP
- Support assessment and treatment of students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Accurately document student progress and maintain therapy records
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and parents to support student goals
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help adapt materials to individual student needs
- Participate in school activities and team meetings as needed
