What we’re looking for:
- Master's degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Active Illinois SLP-CCC and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience with school-based caseloads or similar settings highly desirable
- Commitment to serving PreK–8th grade students with a range of speech and language needs
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students identified with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor effective, individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Deliver speech and language services in both Spanish and English, ensuring culturally responsive care
- Adapt interventions based on student response and school goals
- Effectively manage a caseload spanning early childhood to middle school, supporting growth at every grade level
