Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Idaho (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Previous school-based experience is highly valued, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by teachers or parents
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, review progress and make recommendations for modifications as needed
