Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience working in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, administrators, and family members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports as required by the school and state guidelines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student planning and support teams
- Provide resources and recommendations to classroom staff and caregivers to aid in generalization of therapy outcomes
