Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) in Idaho
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and delivering direct therapy
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with latest therapy techniques and educational technology tools
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and identify students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough progress notes, documentation, and required reports
- Advocate for students’ access to communication tools and resources
