Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC credentials (ASHA Certification)
- Illinois state licensure (or eligibility)
- Minimum one year school-based SLP experience preferred
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish required
- Strong collaborative skills and adaptability to various school environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to PreK-8 students across multiple campuses (Great Lakes, North Chicago, and Waukegan areas)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Document progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
