Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Michigan
- Experience supporting school-aged children, especially in K-8 settings, is preferred
- Strong communication, collaborative, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload across multiple sites smoothly
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress reporting
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-8 students according to their IEP goals
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insight and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff to support each student’s needs
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
- Travel between 2-3 nearby school sites within the district as needed
