Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of K-8th grade communication and language development
- Familiarity with IEP procedures and documentation
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload across multiple school sites
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-8
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative services to support classroom success
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Travel between 2-3 school sites within the district as assigned
