Qualifications:
- Holds a master’s degree or higher in speech-language pathology, speech-language and hearing sciences, communication sciences and disorders, or a closely related field
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in a school, pediatric, or educational environment strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Passion for fostering inclusive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs
- Deliver therapy sessions to individuals and small groups, helping students meet IEP objectives
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support the whole child
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates
- Maintain thorough and compliant records of evaluations, interventions, and student outcomes
- Offer screening, consultation, and support for staff and families
