Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Midland, MI

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and technology integration
- State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct direct and teletherapy sessions as appropriate
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support students’ progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Support students in building lasting communication skills to thrive academically and socially
