Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) in Michigan
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year supervision eligibility
- Previous experience in school, pediatric, teletherapy, or healthcare SLP settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Comfort working with K-12 students of varying abilities
- Understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and individualized intervention for K-12 students
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services both in-person and through teletherapy, as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual goals
- Consult with educators and families to support students’ academic and social success
