With full-time hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, your expertise will support a caseload of 35-40 students across three buildings including elementary, middle, and high school settings. Services will primarily be push-in, fostering collaboration with general education staff and maximizing student engagement within classroom environments.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP or CFY accepted)
- Valid SLP licensure in the state
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Comfort and skill working with students on the autism spectrum (ASD)
- Proficiency providing push-in services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dedication to serving K-10th grade students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to students on your caseload
- Support communication goals within classroom settings alongside teachers and support staff
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with school teams to evaluate progress and modify interventions as needed
- Serve as a resource to families and staff regarding speech-language development and strategies
