Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential services across three school buildings for an established ASD program. Working full-time from 8:00am to 3:30pm starting September 1st until June 16th, 2027, this contract opportunity enables you to collaborate with educators and families while delivering meaningful interventions to children and adolescents in grades K-10. With a manageable caseload of 35-40 students, you’ll have the impact and professional interaction you’re seeking.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid CCC-SLP certification or eligibility for CFY
- Licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based practice
- Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP settings
- Familiarity and interest in working with students on the autism spectrum
- Effective communication skills for working across teams and with families
- Strong organization and adaptability to serve multiple buildings
Responsibilities:
- Provide mostly push-in speech and language therapy for students grades K-10 across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining complete documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, support teams, and families to promote student success
- Offer direct and consultative services, adapting interventions for various learning environments within the ASD program
