Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Warren, Michigan
Make a meaningful impact supporting students across multiple grade levels as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Warren, MI. This full-time contract opportunity covers three different settings—elementary, middle, and high school—specifically working within an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) program. Enjoy a rewarding schedule from 8am to 3:30pm, September 1st through June 16th, 2027, providing mostly push-in services for a diverse caseload of K-10th grade students.
Ideal candidates bring expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, with preference for those with the CCC credential, experience in healthcare or pediatrics, and comfort working with both seasoned and CFY clinicians. You’ll manage a caseload of 35-40 students, collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to foster communication growth and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license
- Experience in schools and/or pediatric settings
- SLP-CCC or eligible CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with serving ASD populations is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to efficiently manage a multi-building caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver mostly push-in speech-language therapy to students in grades K-10
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Work within ASD programs across elementary, middle, and high school
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
