Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Michigan state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
- Comfortable providing both in-person and teletherapy intervention
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with staff, students, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in classrooms and through teletherapy as needed
- Document progress and maintain compliance with IDEA and state-specific protocols
- Educate and consult with teachers, support staff, and parents regarding student progress
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative, student-centered solutions
