Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Saginaw, Michigan

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist! This full-time, W2 contract opportunity calls for a dynamic clinician skilled in a variety of settings, including healthcare, school-based, pediatric, and teletherapy environments. Working within a diverse caseload, you’ll use your expertise to help students reach their fullest communication potential and make a lasting impact in their educational experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) with CCC certification preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) as well
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in school or pediatric settings
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms (preferred, but not required)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Genuine passion for working with students and collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Deliver services both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Attend IEP meetings, consult with teachers, and maintain ongoing communication with families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate actively with special education staff and related service providers
