Speech Language Pathologist | Full-Time | Hybrid
Position Details
35 Hours/weekdays
August 2026 - June 2027
Responsibilities
Provide direct individual and group speech-language therapy services to eligible students.
Assess and address speech, language, voice, oral motor, and communication disorders impacting educational performance.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom instruction and daily activities.
Develop annual IEP goals and short-term objectives and actively participate in IEP and Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) meetings.
Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
Prepare comprehensive written reports, progress updates, and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Serve as a collaborative team member by identifying and referring students for additional support services when appropriate.
Provide training and professional development to school personnel regarding speech-language development and effective intervention strategies.
Support students utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and provide training to staff and families for successful implementation across school and home environments.
Travel between assigned school sites within the district as needed to provide services.
Are you who we're looking for?
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) may be considered.
Experience working with K–12 students preferred.
Knowledge of special education processes, including evaluations, IEP development, and compliance requirements.
Experience with AAC devices and communication systems preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to travel between school locations as required.
