School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Groveland, Florida
Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting elementary students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLPs are welcome to apply
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students and diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary school students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Maintain accurate records of service delivery, progress, and communication with families and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Engage in ongoing professional development and uphold best practices in school-based speech therapy
