Your role will involve providing direct and indirect speech and language services, managing a caseload as a dedicated case manager for 17 students, and collaborating to design goals for an additional 41 students. You’ll work closely with another SLP who leads coverage every Friday, ensuring students receive consistent, high-quality care and attention.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged children (Pre-K–5)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other service providers
- Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary case manager for 17 students, overseeing assessments, services, and documentation
- Collaborate on goals and therapy plans for 41 additional students, sharing caseload responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to address speech and language goals
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to foster student success
This contract role offers a regular weekday schedule, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 4:00, with Fridays offering shared responsibilities—striking the right work-life balance while making a difference. The assignment is set to begin immediately and continues through May 20, 2027.
