Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments for students in K–12 settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct speech therapy services tailored to students’ unique needs
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
- Utilize evidence-based interventions and stay informed on best practices in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Adapt approaches based on student response and evolving case management needs
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility
- Recent pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Ability to build rapport across diverse age groups and diagnostic profiles
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable adapting to both on-site and travel working arrangements
