Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania

Make a positive impact supporting elementary students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for two days per week. This contract opportunity focuses on providing in-person speech and language services across two elementary buildings—one day at each location. Work closely with dedicated school teams to foster students’ communication strengths and be part of their academic journey.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but not required
- Direct experience with school-aged or pediatric populations
- Comfortable working in a K-5 school environment
- Familiarity with IEP Writer strongly desired
- Teletherapy experience is a plus, though primary duties are in person
- Ability to collaborate with SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and other school professionals
- Clearances, background checks, and any state-mandated certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat elementary students with a variety of speech and language needs at both assigned buildings
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans in accordance with school district policies
- Complete speech/language screenings, assessments, and progress documentation using IEP Writer
- Work closely with teachers, other therapists, and parents to maximize student progress
- Supervise and provide guidance to SLPA or Clinical Fellow as needed
