Step into a rewarding opportunity as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist working with elementary students. You’ll provide direct, in-person speech and language services across two elementary buildings—dedicating one day per week at each location. Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered
- Experience in school settings and/or providing pediatric SLP services strongly desired
- Familiarity with IEP Writer or similar documentation systems highly valued
- Ability to travel between two nearby school sites weekly
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-age students, addressing a broad range of communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ goals
- Maintain accurate session notes and documentation using IEP Writer or related platforms
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Support students with a compassionate, student-centered approach
