Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
- Current Delaware State SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but highly motivated new graduates will be considered.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to working full-time and on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment and treatment of students 1:1 and in small groups.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow therapists to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Support generalization of communication skills across various school settings.
