What You Bring:
- Active Maryland SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary-aged students, strongly preferred
- Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Ability to develop IEPs and track progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and creativity to personalize sessions and maintain engagement
Your Day-to-Day:
- Conduct evaluations and comprehensive speech/language assessments
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, document interventions, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer in-classroom support and guidance as needed
- Facilitate inclusive, supportive learning environments for all abilities
