Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Michigan SLP license
- Experience in school-based SLP services, including early childhood and elementary settings
- Skilled in conducting speech/language and multidisciplinary evaluations, especially for preschool-aged children and students with complex needs
- Comfortable traveling between multiple preschool and early childhood special education sites (for early childhood caseload)
- On-site services required; telepractice is not available
Role Details:
- First assignment (January–April): Early childhood caseload—serving multiple preschools and ECSE locations, full-time
- Second assignment (February start): 5th and 6th grade caseload, full-time, end date TBD
- Deliver comprehensive assessment and intervention services, support IEP development and implementation, and collaborate with educators and families
- Serve as a vital resource for students and teams, ensuring high-quality service during periods of transition
