This contract opportunity offers passionate Speech-Language Pathologists the chance to make a meaningful difference in educational settings. Two full-time positions are available covering upcoming maternity leaves during the 2nd semester near Grand Ledge, Michigan.

The first assignment runs January through April, focusing on an early childhood caseload. In this role, you’ll travel between multiple preschools and ECSE sites, working closely with young learners, their families, and educational teams to support communication development. The second opportunity begins in February, serving students in 5th and 6th grade. Both positions are onsite and offer the chance to build strong relationships with staff and students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Active Michigan SLP license
  • Experience conducting both speech/language and multidisciplinary evaluations, especially for early childhood/PreK students with diverse and complex needs
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred (CFY with strong pediatric background considered)
  • Strong collaborative, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work onsite and travel between locations as required

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services
  • Complete comprehensive early childhood and elementary evaluations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Engage with families and caregivers to promote participation and progress
  • Travel between assigned school sites as needed
