Your background in school-based therapy, pediatric SLP practices, and familiarity with ASHA CCC standards will ensure your success as you serve a diverse caseload of 52 elementary students. Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized strategies and deliver high-impact therapy—your expertise will be instrumental in helping students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in a school setting with pediatric populations
- School-based SLP certification (or eligibility for certification)
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students across two campuses
- Provide direct therapy and intervention in accordance with student goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Engage in ongoing progress evaluation and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in school meetings and parent conferences to discuss student growth
