Qualifications:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School certification and eligibility to work as an SLP within schools
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
- Comfort working with elementary-aged students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage an assigned caseload efficiently and with compassion
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 52 elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with educational teams
- Conduct assessments and report on progress toward communication goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Support students in both group and individual sessions as appropriate
