Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | New Haven, Connecticut

You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to deliver high-quality speech and language services as an itinerant SLP working with PreK through 4th and 8th grade students. Your expertise will support a diverse caseload, providing engaging intervention, innovative therapy, and meaningful progress for every child.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Connecticut SLP licensure (required)
- SLP-CCC or CFY accepted
- Experience with pediatrics and school-based populations preferred
- Background in teletherapy and healthcare settings is a valued bonus
- Ability to effectively travel between multiple school sites
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students at various sites
- Conduct evaluations, develop plans of care, and set individualized goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support students’ social and emotional growth through effective communication strategies
