Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within a school-based setting
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Offer guidance and resources to school staff and families regarding speech and language development
