Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within a school-based setting
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Offer guidance and resources to school staff and families regarding speech and language development
