Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and goal setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students, individually or in small groups
  • Conduct assessments to identify communication needs and develop intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support student progress
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, providing expert input regarding students' language goals
  • Maintain thorough records of student performance, attendance, and service delivery
  • Educate and support caregivers and teachers to facilitate carryover of skills
  • Remain current on best practices and legal requirements related to school-based SLP services
