Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP licensure (or eligibility) for practice in the state
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver individualized therapy
  • Comfortable working with students of various ages and abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support positive student outcomes
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development
