Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Jeffersonville, Indiana

Desired Experience & Skills:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience is highly valued
- Strong foundation in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for school-age populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Knowledgeable in IEP process and familiar with creating and implementing individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, interpreting results for educational planning
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to eligible students, focusing on improving functional communication
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and required reports
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success academically and socially
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consults as required
