Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows may be considered
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous pediatric experience within a school or similar setting
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
- Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultative services and resources for staff and families
- Create a positive, motivating environment that encourages student participation and growth
