Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Speech-Language Pathologist-CCC or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) accepted
- ASHA certification or eligibility preferred
- Prior school-based SLP experience, especially with K-8 students, is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to a full school year contract (22/23)
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language support to a diverse K-8th grade caseload
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students requiring services
- Collaborate closely with teachers and families for effective service delivery
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development
