Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or eligible Illinois SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; SLP-CFYs encouraged to apply
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is advantageous
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) focused on student speech/language goals
- Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately according to school guidelines
- Deliver engaging direct and indirect therapy sessions and participate in department meetings
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional growth within the field
