Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Illinois

Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- State licensure (or ability to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience or interest in working with students from early childhood through high school
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and organization abilities
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students as referred
- Develop and implement customized IEP goals based on students’ unique needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to individuals and groups within the school environment
- Consult and collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
- Provide ongoing progress monitoring and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Support overall communication development and advocate for student success
