Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Illinois SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) desired; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with diverse speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote best practices in communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
- Support students’ functional and academic success by actively engaging families in the therapeutic process
