Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility/CFY considered
- Strong background in pediatric and school-based services
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Develop and manage tailored therapy plans to address individual IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative services in classroom and small group settings
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with staff and parents to support student growth
- Offer guidance and support to paraprofessionals and teachers implementing communication strategies
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
