Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Rumford, ME

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification meeting state requirements
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in a school environment
- Ability to follow lesson plans and therapy goals as directed by supervising SLP
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students’ speech and language development through direct and indirect therapy
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and activities
- Collect data and document student progress accurately
- Prepare materials and assist in conducting group or one-on-one sessions
- Communicate with teachers and staff to promote student success
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
