Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification.
  • Prior experience in a school environment preferred.
  • Ability to implement speech/language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct intervention to students as outlined in IEPs, under supervision of an SLP.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support individual student needs.
  • Prepare materials and support therapy activities tailored to each student.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning sessions throughout the school year.
  • Assist with screenings and informal assessments as needed.
