Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Aurora, Illinois

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) OR actively completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, especially in school settings, is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication abilities
- Ability to handle documentation efficiently and maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to children individually or in small groups
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other school staff to coordinate support strategies
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development activities
- Stay updated with best practices and current research in the field of school-based speech-language pathology
